Video: K9 Rappel Kit – Kontenha Rig Version 1

Together with Tensi und Harald we used the time at the CtoC Summit to build the Kontenha Rig out of available gear. The idea is, that an operator can rappel together with his dog on the lap.

Here are the components of the Kontenha Rig Version 1:

• Skylotec Spark Descender
• Camp Enigma Swivel
• Edelrid Tech Web Sling 90 cm
• Petzl Progress Adjust (a 30-cm also worked)
• Trilock Carabiner (for the operator)
• AustriAlpin fifty:fifty (for the “quick release”)
• A Rapper to fix the sling
