Dies ist ein Kurzreview, bei dem ich das Produkt in erster Linie vorstelle und einen ersten Eindruck vermittle. Das ermöglicht mir, Prdoukte früher zu präsentieren, ohne mich durch meinen hohen Anspruch an Umfang und Tiefe zurückhalten zu müssen. Hier habe ich ausführlicher erläutert, was der Gedanke hinter dieser Kurzform ist.

A helmet certified according to CE EN 1385. Well-known worldwide and especially popular for maritime operations. Also suitable for parachuting and urban combat – even though it is not specifically designated for this!
It does not offer ballistic protection. However, the helmet is easy to maintain and provides reliable protection against impacts that may occur in water sports.

The helmet has ventilation openings all around. It also covers parts of the neck.

Inside, the helmet has foam that does not absorb water. Unfortunately, the stickers leave unsightly damage on the foam.
 

I modified the helmet slightly for tactical training.

Unfortunately, you can’t wear active hearing protection with a headband under the helmet, nor can you attach rails. But after all, this helmet isn’t exactly a “tacticool” helmet.

Conclusion

I wore the helmet for several years during CQB training and rappelling. It has served ME PERSONALLY well for these purposes. 

Size
The helmet has a round shape. I wear size XL. Since I have a rather long head, the helmet presses on the front and back. Unfortunately, no size adjustments are possible.

Tactical Use
I see this helmet as a training helmet or as a helmet for parachuting in tactical scenarios. However, there is also a full-cut version specifically designated for skydiving.

Final Word
If you are looking for a relatively affordable helmet to use for whitewater trips or urban combat training, you will enjoy this Protec helmet. However, keep in mind that this helmet does not meet climbing standards.
