Schuberth M100 Combat Helmet in NIR – Sand Brown compared to Multitarn and Flecktarn

The Schuberth M100 is a modern military helmet that has also successfully made its way into the German Bundeswehr. Here I have the half-cut model in sand brown RAL8031.

Here are some comparison references to evaluate the color. On the right, a field blouse in Flecktarn; on the left, a combat pant in Multitarn. Below, a mowed lawn and two bright green leaves.

It is noticeable that the brightness of the helmet resembles the leaves more than the camouflage pattern. With a bit of EC Paint, this can be adjusted if needed. Alternatively, there are also helmet covers available from Schuberth.
