About me
Kon Möller
Photographer, content creator, and outdoor enthusiast.
I combine creative visual storytelling with practical experience in the fields of
outdoor, military, and rope techniques. My goal is to create content
that not only looks good but also provides real value.
Profile
I work in a calm and deliberate way, with a clear focus on what actually works. My goal is not to make things appear bigger than they are, but to present them honestly and in a way that is easy to understand. Much of my content is based on real-world experience outdoors – whether it’s bivouacking, working with rope systems, or testing gear under realistic conditions.
I started working intensively with ghillie suits as a teenager and, over the years, developed a deep understanding of materials, visual effect, and practical application. The same applies to photography rope work: for me, it’s not just about theory, but about clean, reliable solutions that work in real situations.
With my content, I aim to reach people who are open to learning new things and developing their skills outdoors—regardless of whether they are just starting out or already have experience. In the end, it’s not just about showing what’s possible, but about motivating others to go outside, try things themselves, and gain their own experience.
Career
Photographer & Content Creator
Production of photo and video content, editorial articles,
and content for my own platforms as well as collaborations.
TACWRK
Part-time at TACWRK GmbH. As part of the content team, I create texts, images, and support product selection.
Basic Course SRHT (Rope Rescue)
Completed the SRHT basic course from Axel Manz, to further professionalize rope handling.
CONCAMO & GHOSTHOOD
Part-time at Saro GmbH with a wide range of responsibilities including product development, product presentation, customer interaction, website maintenance, social media management, photography, sewing, and more.
German Armed Forces (SaZ)
Participated in training to become a paratrooper in Pfullendorf at SpezAusbKp 209. Due to personal circumstances, I had to shorten my service time. I was temporarily assigned to FMZ Hammelburg and completed a press photography course. Afterwards, I remained occasionally active in the reserve forces.
Business Registration
Inspired by Claus-Volker Selck from Ranger-Shop to earn money with photos and reviews. This laid the foundation for professionalization.
Ranger-Shop
Worked as a sales assistant at Ranger-Shop in Hammelburg and supported the development of ideas for new products for the NfD line.
German Armed Forces (FWDL)
Completed 23 months of voluntary military service. Basic training with mechanized infantry (PzGren) in Hagenow, followed by service at VNAusbZBW in Wildflecken.
Specialization in Camouflage
I had already worked extensively with ghillie suits and absorbed everything I could find. At this point, I actively built an online community and launched the German ghillie meetups.
YouTube Channel
Started my YouTube channel based on a classmate’s suggestion. Initially, I only created animated videos drawn in MS Paint. I came up with the name “Ripperkon” because I wanted something unique that didn’t exist yet.
First Camera
An analog camera where I often accidentally double-exposed film to fit more images on a roll. The lab would often return only 2–3 usable photos.
